William Michael Winfield

William Michael Winfield (Mike) was born in Ventura, Ca to William S. Winfield and Laverne Y. Winfield, Sept 4, 1947.He spent two years in Ojai, Ca, then moving to Simi Valley, Ca. He went to Simi Elementary School, Simi High School and attended Humbolt College for two and half years, was drafted in 1968 into the Army. He made rank to E5, was appointed to Westpoint and OCS, which he turned down at the time. After two years of active duty, he returned home and started working for his family business Winfield Lumber & Supply.

He met Ruth Finney and they got married in 1972. They had two girls, Ambre Lea b. 1974 and Annah Marie b.1976. He continued to work at Winfield Lumber & Supply till 1988. He received his real estate license and sold commercial real estate for brief time. He went on to open Select Door & Window, then went on to microfilming.

Mike was always looking for deals and collected things that he shared with family and friends. He loved to hunt in Northern Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado hunting for Deer, Antelope, and Elk. He was always interested in vintage western collectables and art. He was a ford man at heart and loved ford pickups.

He was so proud of his daughters and looked forward to spending time with them. Being blessed with two grandsons and one granddaughter was his pride and joy. He moved to Utah November 2010 and remained there till his death. He leaves his wife of 54 years Ruth Finney Winfield, Daughters Ambre Winfield Lewis, (Howard) Annah Winfield, (Mikey) grandson Robert Winfield and Jack Winfield. Granddaughter Sedora Winfield Smallman.

Celebration of Life will be held in September.
