Virginia May Barlow Webb

Virginia May Barlow was born June 23, 1940, in Bountiful, Utah, as the 3rd child of her mother Maurine Owen and the 16th child of her father Albert Edmund Barlow. Her other mothers were Kate Kilgrow and Vio Frazer.

Virginia graduated from South High School and enjoyed coming from a large family. She was determined to have 15 children. She married Vince Park which brought her into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was very grateful for that. She was also very grateful for the 11 children from that union: Dawn Butcher (Kelly), Ronda Love (Kevin), Brenda Woodhouse (Scott), Dennis Park (Edie), Sharon Wiley (Scott), Bud Park (Tracey), Frankie Harrison (Chris), Albert Park (Dauna), Carol Galloway, Steven Park, and Levi Park (Yulier). After her divorce she went back to school, graduating from Salt Lake Community College.

Eight years after her divorce, she was sealed to Lynn Webb in the Salt Lake Temple. He had four children: Mark Webb, Marnie Jensen (Andy), Mike Webb (Lisa), and Michelle Pippert (Jon), which gave her the 15 children she hoped for when she was young.

She has served three missions with Lynn and together they served in the Salt Lake Temple for over 12 years. She then continued to work in the Jordan River Temple. Together they have 72 grandchildren, 107 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also has 9 sisters and 3 brothers still living.

Our mom wanted no money spent on flowers but would encourage donations to the Humanitarian Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or potted plants that can be taken home and enjoyed for many years to come.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her ward building at 3510 South 3610 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109.
