Tricia Stott

November 24, 1967 — July 22, 2023

Farmington

Tricia Stott, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born on November 24th, 1967. On July 22, 2023, she passed away at home. Tricia's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her vibrant spirit and loving nature will forever be cherished.

Tricia was born in Bountiful Utah To Allison Chad and Patricia (Lowe) Stott. She lived there until she was three. Her family moved to Centerville where she began her schooling at Centerville Elementary and made many friends. During this time Tricia had her first pet, Tabby the cat, which followed her everywhere. Tricia loved animals, and always had pet dogs. The family moved to Orangevale California in 1973. She hated to leave her friends behind, but made many new ones.  This is when Tricia discovered her love of the ocean. Going to Stinson Beach became her new favorite vacation. Swimming in the ocean and collecting seashells. The family then moved back to Centerville, where Tricia attended Centerville Junior High, and Viewmont High School. Being such a good big sister, Tricia helped in the care of her younger brothers Jeremy, and Danny. Tricia was always up for any adventures her brothers would be working on, which included camping, fishing, and anything with gas engines. She would always get the longer turns on the Tote Goat, and later the Trail 70.

As one of four siblings, Tricia shared a special bond with her brothers Reni, Jeremy, and Danny. Their sibling connection brought warmth and laughter to their family gatherings, creating lifelong memories that will be cherished by all.

Tricia was a devoted and loving mother to her three children, Allison, Ethan, and Dustin. Her children were the center of her world, and she showered them with affection and unwavering support. As a grandmother, she found immense joy in having three grandchildren, Stone, Kyanna, and Annalyssa.

Tricia's parents, Patricia Stott and Chad Stott, instilled in her the values of love, compassion, and faith. Her upbringing shaped her into the wonderful person she became—a beacon of positivity and kindness.

A ray of sunshine, Tricia's infectious happiness could light up any room she entered. She had a deep love for the beach and sunny weather, and her heart always longed for tropical destinations like Hawaii, where she found tranquility and peace.

Her faith played a significant role in her life, and she proudly served as a Sunday school teacher within the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints community for many years. Tricia's dedication to her faith and her love for teaching enriched the lives of those she touched. She was preceded in death by her father Allison Chad Stott, her son Ethan Anthony Harrison. Tricia was survived by: her mother Patricia Lowe Stott; her brothers Reni Stott (Jill), Jeremy Stott (Lora), and Danny Stott (Heidi); her children Allison Taylor (Jason) and Dustin Harrison; her grandchildren Analyssa Taylor, Kyanna Taylor and Stone Parkin.
