Susan S. Wilson

October 14, 1947 — February 22, 2026

Susan S. Wilson, born October 14th, 1947, affectionately referred to as “Suzy” or “Sue”, beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt, and dear friend passed her earthly test and returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on February 22nd, 2026.

Suzy spent her last moments with those on earth who dearly loved her; only to be welcomed into the arms of the angels who awaited her in Heaven, including her dear Eternal companion, Mel, mother, father, daughter, and son-in-law, Kim & Bob Brehm, and great grandson, Christopher John Piper, as well as many other loving relatives.

Sue is survived by daughter, Brooke St John, son, Brad (Jeni) Wilson, daughter, Holly (Matt) Pipper, daughter, Heidi (Jason) Tarbet, daughter, Kate (Craig) Budge, son, Clark (Shannon) Wilson, brother, Robert (Nancy) and sister, Jeanette (Steve) Rieck, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sue was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held many callings during her lifetime. Of all the callings Suzy held, her favorite was that of working in the Young Women’s Program in the Woodland Hills Ward, where she was able to interact with so many young women she adored and who touched her heart forever. Suzy’s final home ward led her to establishing many new and loving friends in the Steed Creek Branch in Farmington, while she was living at the Covington Senior Living Center.

At Covington she was affectionately known as “Sue” and she loved her home there and the staff she came to call family. Sue referred to the CNA girls as “her girls” and they always took extra time to visit with her and listen to her stories. Sue never felt like she was a burden to them and they were always so happy to spend time with her. Those who worked in the kitchen worked so hard to prepare delicious meals and when times became difficult for Sue, they made the efforts to accommodate finger foods and other dietary needs. Others working at Covington always made Sue feel very important. She used to tell people her home was decorated like a greeting card and that every week there were new and exciting activities offered. Sue’s favorite activity was for sure bingo.

When Sue needed extra love and care, God delivered the angels of A Plus to add to the efforts of Covington’s CNA staff. In particular Stacey, Rachel, and Alexis became daily supports to Sue at various times and the family can not express enough love and appreciation to A Plus and the Covington CNA’s for all the love and service they have showed Sue. It was truly an extension of God’s hand and love.
