Steven F. Shamy

January 20, 1954 — January 28, 2026

Steven Fredrick Shamy passed away January 28, 2026 at his home in West Valley City, Utah.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Fred and Ladean Shamy.

He served in the Army and Air Force for many years. He drove commercial buses for many years after the military and enjoyed traveling the country while working.

He had a deep love for music and playing guitar. He will be missed very dearly.

He is survived by his fiancee Jackie Anderson; his two sons, Cody and Patrick; his brother,Gary and sisters, Brenda and Sonnie.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2026 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the services.
