Steve Aldon Longmore

Steve was born on November 6, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away on October 29, 2023. He was the son of Elmer H. Longmore and Lillian Sedwich. He was the fifth of 11 children, 8 boys and 3 girls.

He grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Granite High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and was a gifted artist in both drawing and carving.

He married Georgia Bennett on April  21, 1967, and they were sealed in the Bountiful Temple on April 21, 2017 on their 50th wedding anniversary. Steve and Georgia have been dedicated to each other for 56 years.

Steve was the father of 4 sons: Ross, Mark, Glade, and Ryan.

Steve was a hard worker, a highly skilled electrician and a handyman who could fix anything. He was always willing to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors. He worked for Herm Hughes & Sons Construction for many years.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed time spent on the golf course with his son Ryan and many friends. He and Georgia have lived in Bountiful for the past 50 years and have been blessed with many close friends.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Georgia, his children, and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Bountiful 27th Ward Building, 1145 N. 200 E., Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may visit Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah and on Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
