Stella Brown Bradshaw Williams Noker passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in Bountiful, Utah 13 days short of her 95th birthday.
She was born on October 13, 1930, to Hershall Barnes and Stella Blanch Brown Bradshaw in their home in Wellsville, Utah. Stella grew up in Cache Valley where her early years were spent on the family farm in Sardine Canyon with many cousins.
She married Floyd O'dean Williams on October 14th, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. Their first home was in the Capitol Hill area. Floyd and Stella soon moved to Bountiful and raised their children. In 1963 they purchased The Cottage Ice Cream store in Bountiful. In 1974 they purchased The Historic Eldredge Manor Reception Center and enjoyed many years managing these businesses.
Stella was an extremely shy teenager but soon overcame that to become a world class shopper. She and her girlfriends were legendary at the Layton Hills mall. They spent much time purchasing clothing and gifts for their grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her. She was Stella Bella to her 10 grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them and spoiled them often. Christmas at her house was magical. She had a gift for being elegant and stylish without being snooty.
Stella was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in several callings, Relief Society President, Young Women Organization and numerous other callings. Her testimony of the gospel was firm. In 1995 Floyd and Stella served a genealogy mission in Knoxville, Iowa. Floyd passed away on June 21, 2000. After his death she served a mission at the Conference Center as a tour guide and later volunteered at the Utah Daughters of Pioneer Museum. She attended Utah Daughters of Pioneer meetings up until 2024.
On February 22, 2004, she married Alvin J. Noker at the Eldredge Manor in Bountiful. He was a long-time friend of the family. They enjoyed nearly 20 years together, traveling the country attending temples together.
She is survived by her Son Steven Floyd Williams (Jonan deceased 2025) of Bountiful and her daughter Penney Bradshaw Wells (Paul) of Bountiful, 10 Grandchildren, and 34 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
