Stella Manning was born in Franklin, Idaho, on July 20th, 1929. Her beautiful soul left us on Memorial Day, May 25th, 2026, to be reunited with her loved ones, who are waiting for her with open arms.
Stella graduated from Dayton High School, where her activities included singing and acting in all the school plays and playing drums in their school band.
Stella was a long-time military wife and mother of four children. She loved dressing up and going to the Military NCO Club with Dad. She enjoyed many hobbies while dad was stationed in Japan, including Flower Arranging, Silk painting, and Japanese Doll making. Stella worked in the Civil Service in Guam, a Missile Base in Southern California, Keith-O'Brien at Five Points Mall in Bountiful and later retired from Motor Cargo in North Salt Lake City.
Everyone who came in contact with Stella loved and adored her and always brought her dark chocolate, which was her favorite food!
Stella is survived by her four children: Vickie Anderson, Kevin Manning (Robyn), Connie Shaffer (Rick), and Valerie Morley (Brent), 14 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren with one on the way.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m on Wednesday, June 3rd at Russon Mortuary, located at 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah.
A family viewing will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 4th, prior to the funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Russon Mortuary.
Burial on Monday, June 8th, at 1:00 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah
