Shauna Lyn Glance, 54, of Fruit Heights, Utah, returned home to the arms of her Heavenly Father unexpectedly on December 8, 2025.
Shauna was born to Gary and Barbara Butler on September 2, 1971. She is preceded in death by her father, Gary, and is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Zito Butler, with whom she shared a close and cherished relationship.
Shauna married the love of her life, Robert Glance, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and service. She is survived by her children: Kaylan (Brayden) McArthur, Chaseton (Samantha) Glance, Jaxon (Reganne) Glance, and Madison (Dylan) Warren. She was the proud and loving gaga (grandma) of McKinley, Olivia, Georgia, Taylor, Stetson, and Kasen, who brought immeasurable happiness into her life.
Being a mom and a gaga was the greatest joy of Shauna’s life. She adored her children and grandchildren, supported them in every way, and celebrated them endlessly. Her love for her family was steady, deep, and unconditional.
Shauna had an enormous heart and a true gift for bringing peace to those around her. She always looked for ways to help others—often quietly, intuitively, and without being asked. As a nurse, she cared for countless people with gentleness, confidence, and compassion. Her ability to comfort, support, and serve was one of her greatest strengths.
Shauna loved to celebrate life. She was always planning the next holiday, birthday, or get-together, finding any reason she could to bring her family together and create meaningful memories. Her thoughtful details, creativity, and enthusiasm made every gathering feel special.
To her family, Shauna was the rock—the steady presence who held them together, encouraged them, and made their world feel safe. Her sudden passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who loved her. Though we do not know how to move forward without her, we know she will be watching over us and guiding us every step of the way.
