Sharon Taylor Ford

Centerville - Sharon Taylor Ford, age 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and dear friend, returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, September 5, 2022. She was born March 15, 1938 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Gailord Lee and Afton Glenn Taylor.
She married her eternal sweetheart, Richard Smedley Ford, June 7, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many positions throughout her life. She served as an Ordinance worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple. Sharon and Richard served a mission in the Stake, as Stake Coordinators for the Family Record Extraction program. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ with all her heart. She had a great love for Genealogy work for most of her life. It was part of her life to keep records of her family. She loved her family dearly and it was her desire to have an eternal family forever, with each of her family members to have an unconditional love for the Savior, Jesus Christ. 
Survived by her husband, Richard Smedley Ford of Centerville; her children: Robert Taylor (Ellen) Ford, Riverton, Sheri Ann Ford (Reed) Tidwell, Centerville, Bradley Richard (Anni) Ford, Washington, and son-in-law (Kevin) Wilson , Syracuse; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Ford Wilson, Syracuse, sister Marilyn (Vernon) Flint, Kaysville, and two brothers Blaine (Annette) Taylor, Fruit Heights, and Glenn (Gail) Taylor, Kaysville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Centerville 3rd Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 East. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, and Saturday morning 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
