Scott L. Allen

March 22, 1951 — May 18, 2025

Dearly loved father, Grandfather and friend passed away May 18, 2025. At 74 years of age, born March 22, 1951 in Salt Lake City., to Pauline Burns an Osborne Allen. Scott was the youngest of two children, brother Ozzie. He learned early in life the importance of family, friends and keeping busy. He left peacefully after fighting with bronchiectasis for 3 years. We want to thank his nurses and doctors for their great care and service.

Scott married Judy Allen, later divorced. Their union produced 3 children. Monique Draper (Matthew), Scott Lee Allen Jr. (Brittney), Amanda Jorgensen (Nate). He adored and loved his 10 grandchildren with all his heart.

Scott graduated from West High School and the University of Utah with his bachelors and high honors. He had an inquisitive mind, always researching and learning. Scott spent 20 years as a pharmaceutical representative. His sharp mind and knowledge were with him until the end.

Scott loved biking, hiking, skiing and tennis. His family will always remember him saying, “It’s going to be a ‘blue-bird’ day today!” as they headed off to their next adventure. His love for the outdoors were instilled in his children at a young age. Many memories of biking up city creek, skiing at Deer Valley and hiking.

Scott will be remembered for his friendship, kindness and willingness to listen and help others. “Dad, thanks for all that you taught us, the love that you gave and the legacy that you left with us. We love you always!”

A Celebration of Life for Scott Lee Allen will be held June 6, 2025 at the Salt Lake Cemetery: 200 N Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103. At 1:00 pm.
