Sarah Rachelle Brown, age 44, a fiercely strong and remarkable woman, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Centerville, Utah, following a 15+ year battle with cancer.

She expressed her love by dedicating countless hours to quilting beautiful, heartfelt works of art for those she cared about. She spent her final moments doing what she loved most, fabric shopping at her favorite quilt store, Quilter’s Attic, where she was also an honored guest at their Quilter’s Shop Live event on Tuesday April 28, 2026.
After graduating from Viewmont High School, Rachelle earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication from the University of Utah. She was a passionate and loyal University of Utah football fan, braving all kinds of weather to cheer on the Utes. She dedicated much of her time helping her parents build their dream cabin near Yellowstone National Park. Rachelle personally sanded and stained every inch of the interior wood floors, walls, and ceilings, a lasting testament to her perseverance. Long before the cabin was built, she and her siblings spent their summers in Yellowstone, creating lifelong memories. She loved boating and jet-skiing at Island Park Reservoir, riding ATVs, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles around Mac’s Inn and up Sawtell Mountain, fishing on Henry’s Lake, camping at Buffalo Campground, cliff jumping into the Firehole River, visiting Quake Lake, exploring Yellowstone National Park, hiking in the Teton Mountains, and enjoying chuckwagon meals at the Bar J in Jackson Hole.
