Ryan Dale Green, age 56, passed away on October 7, 2026, much too soon, leaving a hole in the hearts of everyone who loved him. While his family is devastated by his loss, they find comfort in knowing his body is no longer in pain and that he is finally at peace.

Ryan was a true character—funny, stubborn, and always unapologetically himself. Beneath his rough-and-tough exterior was a tender, loving heart. A natural tease with a sharp wit, Ryan always was making others laugh. What you saw was always what you got with him. Ryan was the kind of person who would give you a hard time while spending hours helping fix your car. Throughout his life, he helped countless friends, family members, and people he barely knew. He wasn’t always one to express how much he cared, but he showed it through the things he did for others.

Growing up the only boy, Ryan was a tyrant in the absolute best way—his sisters adored him endlessly and stood loyally by his side throughout his life.

He was a man who lived life pedal to the metal. Ryan loved to go fast, and whether he was riding his CanAm through the trails or gliding across the snow on a snowmobile, nobody could keep up with him. He was equally skilled at taking things apart and fixing them as he was at driving them to their limit.

In his early years, Ryan built houses and was a master with concrete, later using those same hands-on talents as a diesel mechanic. Off the clock, he also loved tinkering with RC helicopters and planes, spending hours fine-tuning the mechanics and getting them into the air.

Above all, Ryan loved his family. Nothing brought him more joy than his grandchildren. They meant the absolute world to him, and he adored every moment spent with them. And they loved their Papa Ryan.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Crystal, and her daughters Ava, Makenna, and Hailey; his children, Spencer, Shelby, and Savannah; his parents, Bette and L Dale Green; his five loving sisters, Gretchen, Colette, Nannette, Katie, and Candice; and his six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma and Ray Nelson, and Margery and Lamar Green.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 East Crestwood Road, Kaysville, Utah. All who would like to join and honor Ryan's life are welcome. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the church for close family and friends.
