Ruth Ann Wanlass

Ruth Ann Wanlass went home to live with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

She was born January 24, 1955 to Fred K. Wanlass and Grace Millward Wanlass in Salt Lake City, Utah and was the fourth of five children.

She graduated from West High School in 1973 and went to school to be a medical assistant. She spent her career helping other as a phlebotomist, working for ARUP. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities blessing the lives of those around her.

Ruth moved in with her aging parents where she served and comforted them.S

he was a good friend and a wonderful aunt and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother Dale Wanlass.

She is survived by her brother, Duane (Jake) Wanlass, her sisters, ReNae (Jerry) Pearce and Sharla (Jerry) Savage.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the West Jordan Cemetery, 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84088, under the direction of Russon Mortuary.
