Royce Parley Ostergaard

Royce Parley Ostergaard, age 90, of Centerville Utah, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2023.

He was born March 7, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Parley Johannes and Lenore Knapp Ostergaard. He married Norma Joyce Jones on April 8, 1955, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Centerville Utah for 65 years, most of their 68 years of married life.

He is survived by his wife and seven children: RaNae Carpenter (Chris), Lou Ann, Douglas (Linda), Kevin (Tami), Mike, E'Lane Arbuckle (Kevin), and Mark (Lisa). As well as 36 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Also, his two sisters, LuRae Barlow and Carolyn Clawson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Claudia, son-in-law Kim Magness, and daughter-in-law Kathy Ostergaard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Centerville Ward, 160 South 300 East, Centerville, Utah.  Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah and Saturday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Centerville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made for cancer research via Huntsman Cancer Institute and/or Five for the Fight.
