Roy Neimoyer

Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather passed away peacefully Sunday, 
October 9, 2022 at his home in Layton, Utah. Roy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 24, 1946 to parents Lanson LeRoy Pratt and Barbara Brough - later adopted and sealed to his new father, Jean Hamlin Neimoyer; Brother to Steve (Leslee) Wilcox, Karen Wilfong, Nelda McDonald. Father of 8: Staci Sokol, Leslie (Mark) Oppie, Tamara Scott, Holly Bailey, Jon (Joy) Neimoyer, Cody (Melissa) Neimoyer, MaryLyn Neimoyer, Shane (Jenn) Neimoyer. Preceding him in death are his parents, and daughter, MaryLyn. Grandfather of 23, Great-grandfather of 17.
Roy served in the United States Air Force as a military Air Police. Roy went on an LDS building mission to Sacramento, California.
Roy was married twice before meeting his wife, Vicki Lou Tobler, and together they were married 47 years. Married May 16, 1975 and on April 17, 1978 were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Roy was a cement mason and carpenter, logger, welder, firefighter and woodworker.
Roy loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, woodworking bowling and most of all his children and many grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful. A viewing will be held from 12:45 - 1:45 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful prior to the graveside services.
