Robert John Epperson Gannon

Robert John Epperson Gannon, our generous, warm, and loving brother, uncle, and friend, has been enfolded back into the arms of his loving Savior on January 27, 2021. Born March 18, 1953 to Sgt. Robert Lee and Lillian Marylene Epperson Gannon. Married Kathy S. Green July 14, 1984 (later divorced).
Robert served in the US Navy for 11 years, many aboard a nuclear submarine, with many a fascinating cold-war story to tell. He remained passionate about his country to the very end, devoting much time to the support of those causes that he found most dear. And very generous to the very end.
Survivors include sisters Gail (Kenny) Young of Bountiful, Shonna Alva (wid) of West Jordan, nephews Chris & Greg Moore, Nieces Wendy M. Griggs, Kimberley S. Robinson, K. Yvette Owen, and L. E. Destiny Smith.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Robert’s Bountiful 5th Ward located at 990 North Chapel Drive. The viewing will be from 11:45 to 12:45 followed by a service at 1:00. We welcome all of Robert’s friends and family to join us. Interment-Lakeview Memorial Park.
