Riley Trevor Erickson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Riley Trevor Erickson, a beloved son, husband, and brother, who died unexpectedly in a tragic accident on April 16, 2026, at the age of 29.

Born on January 9, 1997, Riley brought light, laughter, and an unmistakable presence to everyone who knew him. He approached life with a generous heart, a quick wit, and a deep loyalty to the people he loved. Whether he was supporting family, sharing a quiet moment with friends, or offering help without being asked, he made others feel seen and valued. 

Riley was a devoted husband to Courtney, with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, partnership, and shared dreams. He was a cherished son to Trevor and Rosann, and a protective, steadfast brother to McKirey. His family was the center of his world, and he carried that love into every part of his life. 

Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will be felt for years to come. His kindness, humor, smile, light, compassion, loyalty and spirit will live on in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Riley is survived by his loving family (Courtney, Rosann, Trevor, and McKirey), extended family, all those that may not be blood, but Riley considered family, and many friends and colleagues who will miss him deeply. 

A heartfelt thank you to his coworkers at Bonneville for looking after Riley in his final moments. A special thank you also goes to all the great friends to Riley over the years. To the first responders, thank you for the sacrifices you make every day to assist strangers in their hour of need. 

May Riley's memory be a blessing and his legacy live on in the love he shared.
