Rebecca "Becky" Baer

Rebecca Jane Baer, born July 11, 1954 in Orrville, Ohio, passed away quietly on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the North Canyon Care Center in Bountiful. Becky was the daughter of Dr. Robert D. Baer and Mary Lynn Mace Baer. Becky was the second of five children, had a beautiful alto voice, and sang often with her family. She graduated from Viewmont High School in 1972. Despite a history of mental illness starting at age 18, she often worked in administrative or volunteer positions and lived independently in an assisted care facility until the end of 2009, when she went to live at North Canyon. Becky was always quick to harmonize and would sing along in harmony even when she was not in a position to speak. Becky is survived by her father, Bob, sisters Meg Waldram (Ken) and Amy McGuire (Richard) and brothers Bill Baer (Sheri Campbell) and Dave Baer (Kim).
The funeral will be on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Bountiful 13th Ward LDS Church at 1365 N 650 E, Bountiful UT. The viewing will be 10-11AM, with services 11:30AM.
