D. Quinten Seegmiller was born on May 22, 1996, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Brian and Denise Seegmiller. He was the long-awaited baby everyone was eager to welcome and love – the fifth of six children and perhaps the most energetic and full of life. The Seegmiller siblings shared countless adventures growing up, forming bonds that remained strong into adulthood as they continued to lean on and love one another.
Quinn had a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and a gift for making others laugh. His humor was unmatched, and no one could keep up with his hilarious obscure references.
He was musically talented, playing the piano and clarinet. He loved music and had a playlist for every activity. Both athletic and creative, he excelled at anything he set his mind to. Beneath his vibrant personality was a deeply tender heart- he loved his parents, siblings, grandparents, relatives, nieces, nephews, friends and his adventure partner dog, Mowgli, with unwavering devotion and served them with compassion and kindness.
Quinn had an unshakable zest for life and sought to experience all the world had to offer. He loved motorcycle rides, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, camping, extreme sports, reading, gaming and traveling- often sharing these adventures with those he held dear.
Throughout his life, Quinn faced personal battles that few could truly understand. Yet, even amid those struggles, he showed tremendous courage and continued to offer a listening ear, a helping hand and a heart full of love to those around him. Quinn still showed up every time. He powered through and was reliable no matter what.
He will be forever remembered and cherished by all who knew him. Though our hearts ache and his absence leaves an unfillable void, we find comfort in knowing that Quinn is now in the loving care of his Heavenly Father and finally at peace.
Quinn is survived by his parents, Brian and Denise Seegmiller, and siblings: Scott (Monica), Shaila (Josh), Bradley, Cameron (Cara), and Courtney. His nieces and nephews, Savannah, Braeden, Mason, Avery, Adelyn, Marshall, Desirae, Ellie, and Carter. His grandmothers, Linda Dale, and Sharon Seegmiller.
