Pauline Ray Lowe was a very loving and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She passed away peacefully August 21, 2026, at the age of 94 of natural causes. Pauline was born in Grace, Idaho, on September 23, 1931.
She moved to Pocatello when she was 12 where later she met her husband Jay Lowe and married him on August 3, 1951, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They celebrated 66 years of marriage together and had 7 children.
Pauline easily formed strong bonds and lasting friendships in each of the areas they lived including Pocatello, ID; Arco, ID; Springville, UT; Woods Cross, UT; Grace, ID; Bountiful, UT; and Highland, UT.
Pauline loved to dance and teach dancing. Wherever she lived she would start a small studio. While living in Woods Cross she started a jazz, tap and ballet dance school, which had always been her dream. She taught hundreds of students the art of dance and during those years she felt so happy and fulfilled.
Pauline loved to travel and went to many fun and interesting places. With Jay, she traveled between Ghana and Nigeria, Africa for a few years while he was working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Pauline will be greatly missed for her happy smile and unwavering kindness. Even at her hardest moments, she was always ready with a “thank you” and “I love you”. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and we are so happy that she now feels the true joy she has been waiting for.
Pauline is survived by 6 children: Cris (Melissa) Lowe, Paula (Dave) Madsen, Richard Lowe, Kathy (Neal) Roberts, Roger (Kathy) Lowe, and Robert (Ann) Lowe, 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and her Nigerian daughter Patience Ogbuli. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jay Lowe and son Phillip Lowe.
