Paul Lynn Russell, 59, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on December 14, 2025, in North Salt Lake, Utah.
Paul was the fourth and last child born to Joyce (Burningham) and Clifford Russell on August 15, 1966, in Bountiful, Utah. He lived a short time in Bountiful and spent most of his childhood in Centerville, Utah.
Paul graduated from Viewmont High and went on to work for REDCON as a digital cartographer. He then worked for UPS in many different capacities including customer service, account manager, billing clerk and rate specialist.
He was a big fan of trucks, ATVs, and Razors. He treasured adventures driving his machines with friends and family in scenic mountains and Southern Utah. He loved beautiful views and peaceful sunsets. He also enjoyed camping and fishing with his cousins and friends.
Paul liked model trains and constructed an entire model train layout with mountains and scenery in his youth. Paul was also a video game enthusiast. One of his favorite games was a realistic race car simulator. He was talented in electronic devices and computers. Apple was his pick. If anyone had a computer question, they could call on Paul.
Paul was born with a naturally soft and kind heart. He enjoyed a good conversation, loved to laugh, and was a joy to be around. Paul was a generous and helpful friend, always willing to lend a hand. He made people feel welcomed and important in his presence.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Robert Kelly. Paul will be sorely missed by his brother, Ron (Patti) and his sister, Brenda (Leon). He is also survived by a long list of dear extended family and friends. Paul will always be remembered by his cherished friends and family: Andy, Brian, Shellie, Greg, Tyler, Kayla, and Chaylyn.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Centerville Utah Cemetery, 650 East 400 South, Centerville, Utah 84014.
