Paul Edward Miller, Jr.

Paul Edward Miller, Jr., 65, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on June 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Monument Assisted Living Facility in Utah, where he was found unresponsive. Born October 16, 1959 at 10:39 a.m. at Tripler U.S. Army Hospital on the island of Oahu. Paul lived a life marked by deep family connections and cherished relationships.

Paul was the son of Paul Edward Miller, Sr., (1936-2022), born in Indiana, and Shirley Jean Miller/Gore, born October 13, 1942 in Honolulu, Hawaii, who survives him.He leaves behind his beloved daughter and granddaughter, Shirley Jean L. Prince, son-in-law Joey Prince, and ShirleyJean, who has grown into a stunning and bright young women with a family of her own, his granddaughter Alysen Prince, whom Paul loved dearly. He was happy to be a grandpa.

Paul shared a special bond with his younger siblings. His sister, Theresa Vawter, who was a steadfast source of support throughout his life and loved him dearly. Paul’s younger brother, Patrick Elmer Miller and his youngest brother, Preston E. Miller, with whom Paul was especially close.

In his final years, Paul moved to Utah to live with Preston and his son, Paul’s nephew, Presley Miller, who also shared a special bond with his uncle Paul. He is also loved by his sister, Theresa Vawter and her husband, Tommy Vawter, their children, his niece, Reneta L. Julian, and nephew Robert J. Julian.His brother Preston and nephew, Presley visited Paul weekly over the last seven years, forging a deep bond, and they will miss him dearly.

Paul’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. His warm spirit, and the love he shared with those closest to him will never be forgotten.
