Listen to Obituary

Patricia “Pat” Parrish passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2026 from Dementia. Pat was born on May 21, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alma and Maurine Parrish. She was the second of six children and grew up on a farm in Farmington, Utah, during a time when life was a little simpler. She loved her siblings and especially loved having lunch and spending time with her sisters.

Pat attended Davis High School, and met her future husband while graduating because they were seated next to each other during the graduation ceremony. She continued her education at Utah State University and later married Ron Osborn. Pat was the proud mother of three beautiful children, Trisha, Tonya, and Troy. After 50 years of marriage Ron and Pat divorced, but her family was still her proudest accomplishment and greatest joy.

Anyone who knew Pat knew that she was one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet. She spent her life serving others, rarely thinking of herself first. If someone needed help, Pat was there. One of her specialties was cleaning, and there was simply no cleaner home than Pat’s. For several years, she worked alongside her sister Eileen, bringing that same care, hard work, and attention to the homes of others. She was also excellent at landscaping and would often show up unannounced to mow your lawn.

Pat was an incredible athlete with a competitive spirit. Whether it was a game, a match, or a friendly family competition, she played to win—and she rarely lost. A challenge only made her more determined.

When she discovered tennis, and she never looked back. Tennis became an important part of Pat’s life. She played for many years alongside her sister Eileen, competing in tournaments all over the western states, earning titles, and making countless memories. Through tennis, she met many wonderful women who became treasured friends both on and off the court.

Pat loved the holidays, but Halloween was her favorite because it brought family, laughter, and a little mischief together. She never passed up the chance to play a practical joke or give someone a good scare. She absolutely loved catching you off guard with a sudden scream and then laughing at your reaction. You always had to be on your toes around her because you never knew when she might be hiding around a corner, ready to scare you.

Pat was fiercely independent. She was much more comfortable being the person who helped others than the person who needed help herself. Pat loved her family and she showed us all by supporting every event and celebrating every accomplishment. She was always the loudest and proudest cheerleader. Her children and grandchildren never had to wonder whether Grandma Pat loved them. Their successes were her successes; their happiness brought her happiness, and being their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Pat was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and lived her faith through the way she treated others. She radiated Christlike love through service, hard work, kindness, and a willingness to help anyone in need. She didn't simply speak about serving others—she spent her life doing it.

Her kindness is one of the many legacies she leaves behind.

She touched countless lives just by showing people how much she loved them on a daily basis.

Pat is survived by her three children, Trisha (Randy) Estheimer, Tonya (Gregory) Hyatt, and Troy (Alison) Osborn; her nine grandchildren, Ashlee (Kody) Green, Jordan Marrufo, Kylee (Spencer) Dixon, Katie (Adam) Tracey, Austin (Grace) Hyatt, Brock (Kasidy) Estheimer, Erin (Alec) Adam, Tyler Osborn, and Camryn Osborn; and her nine beloved great-grandchildren, Brielle, Tegan, Aiden, Taylee, Ellie, Hallee, Ava, Hunter and Oaklee.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Joel Alma Parrish and Maurine Wood Parrish her granddaughter’s husband Thomas Marrufo, and granddaughter Hanna Lee Hyatt.
