Patricia Joan Orazio

Patricia Joan Orazio, age 91, of Layton, Utah, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024.

She will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul with a touch of stubbornness that only added to her character. She found great joy in crafting, reading, and tending to her rose garden. As a military spouse, she embraced travel as part of her first husband's service, experiencing diverse cultures and a love of travel.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerrit H Van Vliet, her second husband Frank Angelo Orazio, her daughter Kristie Elaine Miles, and by her grandson Kyle Miles. She will be dearly missed by her friends and three surviving children, Steven G Van Vliet (Angie), Jacqueline A Maruri (Alex), Michael D Van Vliet, and her seven grandchildren, Gerry Van Vliet (Lisa), Brett Van Vliet, Brian Van Vliet, Kelly Maruri, Aimee Wetzel (Chad), Justin Miles, and Stephanie Grisham. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 14, 2024 from 2-4pm at the Monarch located at 455 25th Street, Ogden, Utah.
