Our loving husband, father and friend, Ollie Odell Henderson passed away peacefully at his home in Bountiful, Utah, March 12, 2004. Ollie was born September 18, 1918 in Kelsey, Texas, to William Robert and Effie Hunter Henderson. He was the sixth of eight children. He served in the infantry in World War II in the Pacific Theater from 1942 until 1945, and was employed by the Union Pacific railroad for 42 years, both in Pocatello, Idaho, and Salt Lake City. He married Davona Thomas in the Salt Lake Temple January 9, 1952. He was an active high priest in the LDS Church at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Davona, his daughter, Debra Lynn Steven Pack; his son, G. Bruce Peggy Henderson and grandchildren, Brandtley, Mandee and Callee Henderson, and one sister, Zora Finch of Tooele Utah. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 21 Ward, 115 E. Wicker Lane 2000 S. Orchard Dr.. Friends and family may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, on Monday, March 15, 2004 from 7-8 p.m., or Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 at the Church prior to the services. The dedication of the grave will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Harmony Home Health and Hospice.
