Norma Helen Baldwin Bennett

November 13, 1933 — June 3, 2025

Kaysville, UT

Norma Helen Baldwin Bennett, age 91, passed away at her home in Kaysville, Utah, on June 3, 2025. Norma was born November 13, 1933, to John and Helen Baldwin. Norma grew up in a caring and loving home near 800 North and Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, Utah. In her youth she excelled in several dance opportunities where she taught, performed, and appeared on the “Eugene Jelesnik Talent Show.” She was a very gifted dancer and blessed a lot of lives from her God-given skill.

She graduated as a proud West High School Panther and alongside her husband could still sing the Panther fight song -- “Vic-tory Victory to the Pan-thers” until the time of her passing. After graduation, she continued her dance career teaching the local youth and worked several other jobs to prepare for her marriage to Glen Richard Bennett, whom she later married. They were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 6, 1957. Together they found great success in their careers and provided a fountain of knowledge and service to family and friends.

Norma was a lady of good fashion, perspective, and adventure. During her pastime her interests were: golf, games with her family, eating ice cream, yard work and traveling. She especially enjoyed her significant bond with her mother (Helen) who accompanied her on many of her adventures.

Amongst some of her greatest successes would be the legacy she bore and left behind. She is joined by her predeceased husband Glen, four children with their spouses, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Her children are Georgia Rasmussen (Mitch), Brad Bennett, Doug Bennett, and Brian Bennett (Jana). Norma loved her family and would always show gratitude from what God had blessed her with.

Norma is deeply missed by friends and family; however, the family knows those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always nearby. Waiting at the door of heaven is her husband Glen, parents, grandparents, family and friends to welcome her to her heavenly home.

On behalf of the Bennett family, we are grateful for the caretakers and helpers who watched over Norma during her declining years.
