Ned J. Timothy, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 22, 1940, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to Joseph Harold Timothy and Mabel Nord, both of whom preceded him in death. Ned also mourned the loss of his sister, JoAnn Eder.

In 1974, Ned embarked on a beautiful journey of love and companionship, marrying Deanna Taylor on September 6. Together, they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with cherished memories. Their bond was an inspiration to those around them, showcasing the beauty of partnership and the joy found in shared experiences.

Ned's adventurous spirit took him to many destinations, including a memorable trip in 1999 to the Eastern Caribbean, where he visited St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Coco Cay in the Bahamas. He had a deep appreciation for travel and vacations, often embracing the richness of new places and cultures. His zest for life was evident in all he pursued, from bowling and golf to competing in roller skating dance competitions in Greeley, Colorado, where he proudly secured third place.

In addition to his many hobbies, Ned had a profound affection for dogs, having welcomed three furry companions into his home over the years. His warmth and kindness extended not only to animals but also to the people in his life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Deanna Timothy; his sister, Chris Despain; and his nieces, Julie Bateson and Rosie Eder, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Ned J. Timothy will be remembered not just for his accomplishments and hobbies, but for the love and laughter he shared with those he encountered. His legacy is one of joy, adventure, and unwavering affection for family and friends. He is deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
