On November 25th, 2024 Morgan Janes White passed courageously from her mortal life and into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Morgan was born on February 5th, 2008, to DaLene Janes and Jared White in Bountiful, Utah. On this date, Jared joyfully welcomed his precious angel “Morgie”, while DaLene happily prepared cute outfits, bows, and shopping trips for her “mini-me.”
Morgan is survived by her parents and siblings; Jared White, DaLene Janes, Logan Sorensen, Landon Sorensen, Harrison White, and half-sister Keley McWhorter. Morgan’s 3 older brothers adored her and she absolutely had them wrapped around her fingers. Morgan and Harrison, just 15 months apart, share a special bond and Morgan would always want Harrison nearby, despite his champion level efforts in teasing his younger sister!
At the young age of 16, Morgan, a talented vocalist and junior at Davis High School, has left us too early. Her life was entwined with kindness, compassion, and loving sensitivity for others. Morgan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed attending LDS Seminary. Morgan possessed natural beauty and authentic concern for others; she has many friends but especially sought to make friends with those needing kindness most. For the past few years, Morgan developed a close friendship with Conner McKibben who she adored spending time with.
Morgan was a huge light in this world and an absolute beautiful soul. She loved BYU Football, horses, thrifting, her dog Koda Costa Vida enchiladas, and Starbucks Pink Drinks and cake pops. Morgan enjoyed getting together with others, hanging out, listening to Tate McRae, and doing crafts such as jewelry making. Morgan and DaLene shared their love for singing and performance and especially enjoyed the musicals Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen.
While it is difficult to understand why Morgan passed from an undiagnosed heart condition, her family is grateful for the exceptional healthcare provided by so many at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Over the course of ten days, nurses, doctors, social workers, and surgeons valiantly helped Morgan with ECMO life supporting measures. The family is forever thankful for the loving care and concern provided by so many special people at Primary Children’s. As an organ donor, Morgan gave life even in death; her undying kindness and concern for others was exemplified as she selflessly gave hope to so many. The family is especially thankful for Susan at Donor Connect. In Morgan’s honor, please remember that the fruit of the Spirit of our Savior is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.
