October 18, 1970 — March 20, 2026

West Jordan, UT

Monica “Mo” Winn, 55, of Utah, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Murray, Utah.

Mo was born on October 18, 1970, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her mother, RaeLee Winn, and was the second oldest of five children: Lynette (Pedro), Jalene, Jared, and Erika (Derek). She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Jay Winn.

Mo cared deeply for the people and things she loved—especially her nieces and nephews: Colton, Celina, Zoie, Iliana, Taylor, Joey, Jeremy, Landon, Bailey, Reagan, and Liam. She also adored her great-niece, Bentley, and great-nephew, Roman.

Mo found companionship and renewed purpose in her dog, Waylon, who quickly became her pride and constant companion. Their bond was unmistakable, and Waylon remained faithfully by her side through it all. Throughout her life, Mo faced many health challenges, yet she fought hard to maintain her independence. She showed remarkable strength and determination, making the best of every situation.

She will be remembered for her fierce love, loyalty, and the deep connections she built with those around her. Mo had a fun sense of humor and loved the outdoors—whether camping, river running, four-wheeling, fishing, boating, or playing in the mud with her nieces and nephews.

She was blessed to have her best friend, Mindy Harvey (Clay), by her side in the last few years of her life. Mindy’s loyalty and support helped Mo navigate many of life’s challenges. She was also grateful for the friendship of Caresa and RC Randall, who helped her regularly and brought comfort and support.

The family would also like to thank Ruth and the many caregivers at various rehab facilities and hospitals for their compassionate care.

Mo is now watching over us from her mountains in the sky.
