Michael Henry Perkins

Michael Henry Perkins passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 86. Michael was born on February 25, 1940, to Irvin Henry Perkins and Edna Gertrude Briscoe, in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated from Bountiful High School in 1958. After graduation, he worked for the railroad and then later started his own successful appliance business.

He married Gayle Renee Barber on April 15, 1960, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have three children together: Michael Scott (Michell) Perkins, Karen Ann Ryan, and Sherry Lee (Kevin) Mochizuki. His greatest joy in life was flying his airplane.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gayle, his three children, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great- grandchildren.

A viewing will be held with family and friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah.

Graveside services will take place privately with the family at the Bountiful City Cemetery at a later date.
