Megan Marie Hamilton

Megan Hamilton passed away Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born March 13, 1986, at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, AZ to Ronald A. Rollins and Sharon Schoeberl Rollins.

Megan is survived by her husband Ryan Hamilton, her children Avery and Azlyn, her father, Ronald A. (Virginia) Rollins, her mother, Sharon M. Rollins, her maternal grandmother, Patricia Schoeberl-Arndt (Jim), her Father-In-Law Ken (Rita) Hamilton, Brother-In-Law Michael (Tina) Hamilton, her stepbrothers, Benjamin Burke and Tyler Burke. Her nieces and nephew Claire Hamilton, Payton Marshal, Nevaeh Sanchez, and Toryn Burke. She was preceded in death by her brother Jacob Rollins, grandparents, Donald Schoeberl, Ruby Rollins, Virgil Rollins, her uncles, Thomas Schoeberl, and Charles Rollins, and her aunt, Ethel Rollins.

She was an accomplished scholar who earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from Utah State University. She was employed at Weber State University as an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education. Her accomplishments in her field of study allowed her to attend Education Conferences worldwide. These took her to London, Bhutan, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, and many other places. She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephew. Megan enjoyed all types of arts and crafts with her daughter, searching for fossils and dinosaur bones with her son, discovering new foods with her husband, and traveling the world. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Megan, we love you and miss you. Life will not be the same without you.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, with services from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, UT. The family will meet with friends on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

An additional gathering will be held at Crossroads Church, 6545 Combe Road, Uintah, Utah 84403, with a meal provided, after the service at the mortuary.
