Maurine Hollist Barker

On November 2, 2015, Grami our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully.  Grami truly taught us the meaning of unconditional love.  We will miss her more than she will ever know.  Maurine was born September 20, 1933 in Farmington, Utah to H. Clarence and Vera E. Carlos Hollist.  She lived in Bountiful and attended Davis County schools.  She retired from First Security Bank after working there for 25 years.

She is survived by her children John H. Hendricks III, Holli Buxton, and her son-in-law Steven Buxton.  She has 3 granddaughters Jennifer (Sean), Abigail, and Amanda (Ryan); and 4 great grandchildren that were the light of her life Breanna, Kade, Kale, and Lexie.  And her sister and twin (2 years apart) Marilyn Rose.  Many nieces and extended family.

The family would like to thank Orchard Cove for taking care of Grami at the end of her life.

There will be a viewing Friday morning at Russon Brother Mortuary in Bountiful, Utah from 11:00-11:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 12:00 a.m., at the Farmington Cemetery.  Online Guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
