Mary Elizabeth Bartlett 1936 2011 Born a New Yorker – Died a New Yorker

Mary passed away on Saturday morning after a long illness. In 1960, she married Warren (Skip) Meader, and in 1961 they moved to Utah where they had 2 children, Jude Ann and Michael. In 1989, she married Hal Bartlett and they made their home in Bountiful. Mary genuinely loved the company of others and there was always a place at Marys table for one more person whether it was for a cup of coffee or a holiday meal. In addition to her husband, Hal, and son, Michael Meader (Layton,) Mary is survived by her older brother, John Kinlen (New York,) and younger brother, Bernard Kinlen and his wife, Maureen (Pennsylvania), sister-in-law, Gloria Szopiak and her husband, Wally (Missouri), 2 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Anna Kinlen, daughter, Jude Ann Meader Beard, sister-in-law, Nora Kinlen, wife of John, and ex-husband, Warren Meader. Viewing is at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 12, at Russon Brothers Mortuary at 295 N Main, Bountiful. A short service will be conducted by Monsignor Daz at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church on Orchard Dr. at 1800 South, Bountiful, on Wednesday, July 13, at 11:00 am. Internment will immediately follow at the Bountiful Cemetery.
