Mark E Trafelet “The Mustang Kid”
Mark E Trafelet was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 31, 1962, to Maurice Howard Trafelet and Priscilla Marie Johnson. He passed away peacefully at home in Clearfield, Utah due to lingering health issues at the age of 60.
Mark was a beautiful, kind, independent and generous soul. He had a passion for cars, (particularly the Ford Mustang), collectible toys, good food, and enjoyed a healthy laugh.
He grew up in Kearns, Utah. With remarkable clarity, he could recall details of his youth growing up in Kearns during the 70’s and 80’s and regularly shared these fond memories with everyone who would listen. He kept immense, well organized photo albums of all his life events.
He remained in the faith of his childhood, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, most recently of the Clearfield 2nd ward. He served a mission to New Zealand.
A particular thanks to the Richard Dority family and for their association with him, no one influenced his life more.
Even with his immense health challenges he always conducted himself with a quiet, cheerful dignity. He will always be an example to surviving brothers (David, Charles, John) and sister (Julie).
