Marjorie Day Shipley

Marjorie Shipley passed away in her sleep on October 1, 2022.  She was born on November 20, 1923, to Joseph and Josephine Day in Woods Cross, Utah.  She grew up in Woods Cross with her brother Jack and moved to Ogden where she graduated from Ogden High School. 

After high school she moved to Salt Lake City where she met her husband.  She married Wesley Shipley and was a dedicated wife and mother. 

She is survived by her children Lisa (James) Levy; Jo (Clyde) Postma; and Paul Shipley, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, brother, husband, and son, Scott. 

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Russon Bountiful Mortuary.  A private family graveside service is being held.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of your choice.
