Marie Colemere Paget

Marie Colemere Paget passed away quietly from this mortal life on June 27, 2024. 

She was born September 2,1936 to Earl and Alvina Colemere. She grew up in Kaysville and graduated from Davis High School. 

She married Loyd Paget on June 23, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived most of their married life in West Bountiful where she raised and taught her children to work hard, serve others, and show love and kindness. 

Mom treasured the time that she spent with her family where many happy and wonderful memories were made. We love that she wanted to join in on any activity that her children or grandchildren did, and she did it with a smile. She loved all types of family gatherings, whether it was parties or get-togethers. 

She also enjoyed canning fruits, vegetables, and loved working in her flower gardens. 

Mom always looked for opportunities to serve others. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and loved to serve weekly at the Utah Council of the Blind where she helped the blind paint ceramics for over 20 years. She held many service callings throughout her life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marie and her husband served a mission for the church for two years at the Centerville Dry Pack. 

Marie leaves behind her husband and nine children; Richard (DeRae), Keith (Gayle), Karl (Melinda deceased), Neil (Kathy), Joan, Lynn (Karrie), Linda (Craig), Jack (Sherry), Jim (Stephanie); 53 Grandchildren and 54 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind her older sister June Hickman. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her daughter-in-law Melinda.  

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 10:00 am at the West Bountiful 1st Ward Chapel, 311 North 800 West in West Bountiful. Friends and Family may visit Friday between 6:00-7:30 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful or Saturday from 9:00-9:45 am prior to the funeral service at the West Bountiful 1st Ward. Interment will be in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
