Marie Ann Johnson

Marie Ann Yingling was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday, May 16th, 1958, to her loving parents Bill and Afton Yingling. She was the oldest of 8 children. Marie was a kind, gentle, loving person who tragically lost her life battling cancer on February 15th, 2023.

She found great joy from her children and work as a doula. Marie was a talented gardener and prolific baker. An eternal optimist and stubborn to the very end, Marie had a boundless love of life and humor. She was always there to offer support and celebrate the successes of everyone around her. She was eternally kind and endlessly giving. The impact she made on so many people throughout her life will never be forgotten. Marie is survived by her 9 children, and her husband Bruce Johnson.

Funeral services to be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2023, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held from 8:30-9:45 a.m. at the mortuary prior to services.
