Margie Eva Van Steenwyk

Grandma Marge rejoined the love of her life (Gib VanSteenwyk) October 20^th, just 9 days after what would have been the couple’s 59^th wedding anniversary. She passed in her Bountiful, Utah home surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born and raised in Sheldon, Iowa and though she lived most of her life in Bountiful, Utah, she would visit back home frequently of which I’m sure were some of the happiest memories of her life. She loved telling us stories of our family from the Midwest.

 Margie is survived by her twin sons (Kurt and Karl), Grandchildren (Connor, Stacy, Anthony, and Adrian) Great Grandchildren (Feather, Tammrinne, Blaze, Dennis, and Ethan), and her favorite bingo buddy puppy (Katrina). She was the best Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, and PTA mom anyone could’ve asked for.

Her love is unconditional and everlasting. She had more adopted humans than anyone could ever need. She would tell anyone she knew, come down for supper just make sure to bring your own chair, and they would! It wouldn’t be unusual for us to have 10- 20 people show up every Saturday at family dinner. Grandma loved every minute of it, especially the kids running around. If she knew you, you were hers and she loved you. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah

The family will host an open house potluck afterwards for a life celebration.
