Our loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, Margaret Forsgren, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2025, just days shy of her 93rd birthday, finally reunited with her sweetheart Bob.
Margaret Elsie Angelos was born on December 6, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George S. and Elsie K. Angelos. Adored by her older brothers and cherished by her parents, her childhood was filled with love, laughter, and warmth—gifts she carried throughout her life. Margaret graduated early from South High School at the age of 16.
She met Bob Forsgren, the love of her life, and they were married on her birthday in 1958, later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they built a home in Bountiful, creating a life steeped in love, faith, and devotion. They raised three wonderful children; each one certain they were her favorite.
Margaret worked as a secretary at Hill Field and later as a loan officer for the Small Business Administration. Yet, her greatest joy was her family. Her love grew with the arrival of nine grandchildren and later great-grandchildren, each one treasured and cherished. She loved attending their games, dance recitals, and other activities, always making them feel special and loved.
Margaret was a woman of quiet strength and enduring faith. After Bob’s passing, she remained a steady anchor for her family, embodying resilience, grace, and unshakeable love. She was compassionate, non-judgmental, and a true peacemaker, bringing calm and harmony to every situation. She was, truly, the heartbeat of her family.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Margaret had a strong testimony and lived her life of as an example of the Savior. She was a devoted homemaker, well-known for her Christmas goodies and her welcoming spirit. She was a genuine friend. She could relate to everyone, all loved to be around her.
Margaret is survived by her children Rob (Cindy), Lisa Crabtree (Scott), and Rick (Kim); nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and her sister-in-law, Pearl Angelos. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, her parents and brothers.
