With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Marc Reese Jensen, who passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer.
Marc was born on August 29, 1978, in Ciudad Lerdo, Durango, Mexico. At just 3 months old, he was adopted by Steve and Becky Jensen and welcomed into a loving family that cherished him throughout his life. He was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age 8 and later received the Aaronic Priesthood.
Marc was never afraid of hard work. Throughout his life, he held many different jobs, from working in fast food to laboring in a flour mill and everything in between. He approached every opportunity with determination, humility, and a willingness to help others.
What people will remember most, however, was not where Marc worked, but how he lived his life. He was so grateful for everything he had and was also one of the most generous people you could ever meet. He had a remarkable ability to make friends quickly and effortlessly, turning strangers into lifelong friends with his warmth, humor, and genuine interest in others. Marc loved a good joke and had a larger-than-life presence that could fill a room with laughter, energy, and conversation.
Marc found great joy in nature. He loved exploring the outdoors and searching for treasures hidden in the earth—crystals, unusual rocks, gems, and other extraordinary finds.
One of the greatest blessings of Marc's final days was having his family gathered together. Surrounded by those he loved most, he peacefully completed his earthly journey. Our family is especially grateful for the devoted care provided by his wife, sister and his brothers.
Though cancer claimed his body, it never conquered his spirit. Marc will be remembered for his courage, generosity, humor, love of family, and adventurous soul.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Jensen; his parents, Steve and Becky Jensen; his sister, Amy (Alan) Ericksen; his brothers, Matthew (Becca) Jensen; Eric (Sheri) Jensen. Father-in-law Jim Greening, Sister-in-law Casey (Wade) Moseman, and nieces and nephews who adored him. His two beloved cats, who brought him companionship and joy; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Judy Johnston, grandparents, and two uncles.
As a family, we take comfort in knowing that the same man who spent his life gathering treasures from the earth has now become one of Heaven's treasures. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
A special thank you to Dr. Christopher Nevala and his staff at Huntsman Cancer Center for their dedication and compassion shown to Marc during his cancer journey. A special thank you to Bailey with CNS Hospice for her special care in his final days as well as the love and compassion she showed to our family.
