She was born May 21, 1918, in Woods Cross, Utah, the daughter of Heber and Mary Jane Betts Parkin. She married Blaine W. Mitchell on October 11, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many church positions throughout her life. She has been an angel among us and has given countless hours of service to her family, friends, and community. We will dearly miss her as she has made all our lives better. Some of her lifetime loves were singing, dancing, talking with and serving friends. She loved to cook and everyone will miss her hot rolls, pies, and cream puffs. She worked at Cudahy?s for over 20 years and then managed the LDS Garment Distribution Center in Bountiful for 17 years. She was a volunteer in the Bountiful LDS Temple and Lakeview Hospital. She was proud to be part of Senior Friends and a longtime member of DUP.
