Lynda Gudmundsen Bowns, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026.
Born September 4, 1939, to Vance and Edith (Halverson) Gudmundsen in Ogden, Utah.
Lynda enjoyed spending time over lunch with friends and co-workers.
She worked for Davis County and then the State of Utah as a State Collection Agent for approximately 30 years. She was successful in this position and enjoyed her work.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce Bowns, and her sister, Jan (Ben) Donahue; Her daughters, Suzan (Jeff) Weber, Jayne (Rick) Peterson and Jennifer Ehlert; grandchildren Joey Ehlert and Jayme Ehlert; Cortney Seggermann (Jon Fekrat) and great-grandchild Leonel Fekrat.
She is predeceased by her parents, daughter Deborah DeCorso, and grandson Jacob Ehlert.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
