LuAnn Denison Bishop

LuAnn Denison Bishop, beloved mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on June 1, 1942, in Price, Utah, to LeMar Denison and Bertha Anderson.

LuAnn’s life was marked by devotion to her family and quiet strength. After moving to Davis County, she met and later married Hal B. Bishop in September of 1975. 

LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hal; her brothers, Larry and Donald; and her sister, Sandra, all of whom she now joins again. She is survived by her brothers Jerry, Robert and sister Carol. 

She leaves behind a legacy through her three sons: Scot Jewkes (Stefani), JR Jewkes (Sherise), and Corey Jewkes; six cherished grandchildren; and four adored great-grandchildren, who were the greatest joy in her life. 

She loved Elvis, family, and the cowboys, these simple joys brought her happiness throughout her life. Her warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 3317 S 800 W Bountiful, Utah, where viewing will be held from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.prior to the service, where family and friends may gather to honor and remember LuAnn’s life.
