Lisa Marie (Black) Manning

March 5, 1964 — May 24, 2024

Kearns, UT

Lisa Marie Black Manning passed away on May 24, 2024, at 10pm, in Kearns Utah at the age of 60. After a short but valiant battle with Pancreatic Cancer, we decided to take her where she wanted to be.  At home in the arms of her family and friends. She would occasionally still make jokes even through all of her pain.

Lisa was born on March 5, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to James Maurice and Barbara Jean Jorgensen Black. Her family moved to Denver and finally to Bountiful, UT.  Married Ross G Nielsen later divorced. In January 2007 she finally found the love of her life, of all places on MySpace.  On November 6, 2013, John William Manning Married Lisa Marie Black the Love of his Life, in Kearns, UT.  Lisa was a very loving and devoted Wife and Mother.

She shared many fond memories of spending summers in Montana with her Grandma when she was young. Lisa had an endless love for animals. And spent many years volunteering for local animal rescues as admin and transport.  And she was proud of her job as the Executive Assistant for the Director of the Pediatric ICU at Primary Medical Center. Lisa also loved having all the kids and grandkids for a barbecue in the backyard and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. She was really big into Facebook, and she had many dear friends on there.  She also loved spending time at Bear Lake with her Family.

Lisa is survived by her husband, John; children, Amanda, Lacy (Brandon), Andrew (Steve), Shaylin (Tyson), Dillon (Katie); grandchildren Rex, Jaden, Aliyah, Bruce, Mckenzie Arius; Uncle, Gary (Bonnie); Niece and nephew, Laycee and Mark; and many cousins.  She was proceeded in death by her Grandparents, Parents; James and Barbara Black, brothers Richard and Chris; sister Linda; and Aunt Carlene. To miss her sweet spirit is heartbreaking, Thinking of the new angel watching over us helps our sadness and brings hope of when we will meet her again.

The celebration of Lisa’s life will be on Friday, June 14th, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm in North Canyon Park at 3900 Bountiful Boulevard, Bountiful UT 84010
