Linda June Anderson Zeeman, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away the morning of April 22, 2026, with her husband, Ken, at her side. She was born on January 2, 1948 in Logan, Utah to Elbert James Anderson and Sylvia Rose Strull Anderson.
She lived in Wellsville, Utah until she was twelve. Her family moved to Bountiful, Utah where she attended Bountiful Jr. High, Bountiful High for a year and then Viewmont High. She graduated in the first graduating class at Viewmont. She was involved in choir and singing all her life.
After graduating from high school she attended the University of Utah and majored in choral music education. She met lifelong friends there and was involved in A’cappella choir as well as studied private voice lessons.
After college she joined what is now known as The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, formerly known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She met her husband, Kenneth L. Zeeman in the choir, also singing in a small group of choir members. They were married March 27, 1975 in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She taught jr. high school choir in Dugway, Tooele and Sunset as well as taught private voice lessons.
She had many great opportunities with the Tabernacle Choir, including traveling, which she loved, some of the most memorable trips being Russia and Israel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Ken Zeeman, daughter Elizabeth Reed (Jeff), son Benjamin Zeeman (Misty), and twelve grandchildren.
We express our love and thanks to our dad, who lovingly took care of mom for several years before her death. We express gratitude to Andrea Durham for helping Dad take care of her during her final few months. We’d also like to thank those from Atlas Hospice, her RN, Brook, and her CNA, Heidi.
A viewing will be held the evening of Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
A short viewing will be held in her honor from 9:45-10:45 A.M. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 610 North Rowland Way building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Centerville, Utah. It will be followed by a funeral to begin at 11:00 A.M.. Interment will be at the Centerville Cemetery.
