Linda Ann Turner

Linda Ann Turner, age 79, Our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend, passed away peacefully in her home on July 18, 2026. She spent her final moments surrounded by her family, the people that she loved the most. Linda was born on February 24, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ross Maynard Anderson and Elva Jane Powell.

She married at the young age of 17 in 1966 and later divorce in 1987. She had 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. Linda found great joy in caring for her family. She had a deep love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda was known for her fierce dedication, kindness and willingness to help her family whenever there was a need.

Linda was a hair stylist in her younger years and she enjoyed helping others to look their very best. She had a fun and addictive personality and she genuinely cared about the people who were around her. There was never a time where she did not ask how you were doing and wanted to hear everything about you whether it was good or bad, she was always there to listen and wanted to know what was going on in your life that she could help you with. She always tried to comfort you in your times of need even if she was struggling with illness or problems of her own. She could make people laugh and had a way of making you feel special.

She enjoyed going for drives to look at the fall leaves, visiting her sister in Green River, Ut playing with her great grandkids, going out for breakfast, shopping, holidays, reading books, baking and most of all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed; we will miss her denture and old age jokes and the fun positive outlook she had on life.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children: Carrie Zenger (Tim), Valarie Pearce (Shaun), Curtis Turner, Cody Turner; her 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; her sisters Pat Spicklemeir, Sandy Stone and Barbara Quist.
