Linda Johnson Rowley, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 73.
Linda was born on March 28, 1952, in Orem, Utah, to Evan Alden Johnson and Adelia Larsen Johnson. She was raised in Orem, where she met and married Neil Rowley on July 2, 1970. Together they welcomed two children, Alycia Rowley and Wade Rowley. They divorced in 1975.
Linda was a passionate reader and found great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evan and Adelia Johnson. Linda is survived by her children, Alycia Rowley and Wade Rowley (Aimee Tatton); her grandchildren, Josh Aldrich and Tyler Aldrich; and her siblings, Dale Johnson (Glenda), Chris Johnson (Elaine), Janice Johnson, and Jeff Johnson.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the University of Utah Hospital for their compassionate care, as well as the exceptional nurses and staff at Capitol Hill Senior Living, who supported Linda and her family with kindness and grace during her final weeks.
As per Linda's wishes, no formal services will be held. A small family gathering will be held.
