Linda Donna Mae Davies Fuller

May 23, 1939 — March 3, 2022

Linda Donna Mae Davies Fuller, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022 after a brief illness and returned home to her Heavenly Father and loving family members. Linda was born on May 23, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elmer and Gerda Davies and was the eldest of four children: Don Davies, Kathy Davies Burk and Myron Davies.
Linda married Sherman G. Fuller (deceased) on September 5, 1963 in the Salt Lake City Temple and they were blessed with three children: Troy, Tina Fuller Webb (deceased) and Todd. Linda and Sherman have seven grandchildren: Alexis, Chase and Calista Fuller; Courtney and Abbey Fuller; Tanner and Tayden Webb.
Linda first met Sherman while in junior high school and they continued their relationship through the high school years even though they both attended different schools. Linda worked part time at Mountain Bell Telephone during high school and continued on during the first years of marriage. She eventually gave up her job as children began coming into her life and stayed home to focus on her young family.
Linda absolutely loved gardening, was meticulous about her yard and could often be found outside planting flowers and pruning bushes. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and even brought home several bowling trophies for being the highest scorer in the league. Linda had a creative side and dabbled in painting and other art-related projects. She was a gifted cook and was known for her homemade cinnamon rolls and delicious casseroles that she often shared with family and friends. Linda also loved dogs and found great solace in their love and companionship.
Linda took an active role in the lives of her children and consistently taught and trained them during their formative years. She insisted that all her children better themselves by learning to play a musical instrument or develop and cultivate a talent–this was non-negotiable for Linda. She was also PTA President and an active PTA Board member while her children where in school.
Linda was very dedicated to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life. Her favorite church calling was working in the Young Women’s organization. Linda worked at the Bountiful Temple for many years and also served as a service missionary for twenty years at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. She absolutely loved meeting and talking with visitors from all over the world who would visit Temple Square.
We are grateful to Heritage Place and their staff, the doctors and nurses at Lakeview Hospital, and many friends for all of the attention, care, and compassion given to Linda during the final stage of her life.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main St., Bountiful, UT., where a viewing will be held from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow the services at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, UT.
