Laura was born on April 18, 1967 in Bountiful, UT to Normand and Sharon Langevin. She was the fifth of six children all raised in Kaysville.
In her youth she loved working with horses and even won some competitions in showing. She graduated with honors from Davis High and attended the University of Utah on a band scholarship. She played clarinet in marching band in both high school and college. She had a lifelong love of teaching and graduated with a degree in elementary education. Due to life circumstances she wasn't able to begin teaching after graduation but went back to school to renew her license and ultimately taught 4th and 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary in Layton.
After college Laura met and married Kent Waldron and they went on to have three adorable children. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple in 2018.
Laura loved to stay busy. She was often found crocheting baby blankets, working in the yard, or hiking with the dogs. At 52 Laura was unfortunately diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease. Her husband lovingly cared for her before his death in 2023, after which her children took on his legacy.
Laura is survived by her children Gabrielle, Alec, and Madison (and her partner Louisa), as well as her ever loyal dogs who stayed by her side through it all.
Her kindness and humor stayed with her until the end, and she was a joy to many. We will all miss her wit and sassiness.
